Dawson is known for its reputation as a safe place for the youth of our community to go. Our recreational activities and quality programming are pivotal for these young people and their families.
We continue to strive to address the issues the community is struggling with. One of our mandates is to work with children, youth, parents and seniors to improve the quality of life for all.
We strongly believe that, when we are working to tackle such issues as child stimulation, school success, and family and seniors’ isolation, we can make a greater impact through networking and forming partnerships. We also address issues pertinent to the English speaking community, and understand the importance of keeping schools open and reviving the population’s place in Verdun.
We work closely with various community groups, institutions and businesses. We also liaise between the French and English establishments of Verdun through our active participation at various round tables and community committees.
